Buttectec (web site), established and maintained by the Citizens Technical Environmental Committee (CTEC) of Butte, Montana to serve as a public resource for information and scientific data about the Silver Bow Creek Superfund Site and the Montana Pole and Treating Superfund Site. The site is a tool to help citizens track the EPA process for evaluating and cleaning up the operable units associated with Superfund sites from Butte to Warm Spring Ponds.
The goal of this site as with all of our efforts is to help citizens develop informed questions and decisions about the on-going clean up process. If, in reading over any of the information on this site, you would like to join with us in our efforts to make sense of the monumental efforts to restore the environmental health of the headwaters of the Columbia River, consider joining with us at CTEC. To learn more about becoming a member, visit our on-line membership form.
Our Mission : To provide technical comments and public outreach on the Superfund process for Silver Bow Creek and Montana Pole and Treating NPL sites.
