US EPA Life-Cycle Assessment:: Site established to promote the use of LCA to aid in understanding the human health and environmental impacts of products, processes, and activities. Includes primer on LCA and links to related materials.

National Center for Environmental Health (U.S. CDC):: Leadership to promote health and quality of life by preventing or controlling those diseases, birth defects, or disabilities resulting from interaction between people and the environment. Site has information/education resources on a broad range of topics, including asthma, birth defects, radiation, sanitation, and lead in blood.

National Environmental Respiratory Center - NERC:: A U.S. national research center supported by the EPA, NERC facilitates research to improve the scientific basis for understanding and managing the health risks related to air quality.

Printers' National Environmental Assistance Center (PNEAC):: Provides the most current and complete compliance assistance and pollution prevention information to the printing industry.

National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory - U.S. EPA:: Federal Government's principal program to control air pollution from motor vehicles. Primary responsibilities include developing programs to reduce mobile source related air pollution; evaluating emission control technology; testing vehicles, engines, and fuels; and determining compliance with Federal emissions and fuel economy standards.

U.S. National Assessment - The Potential Consequences of Climate Variability and Change:: Intended to provide a detailed understanding of climate-related problems facing the U.S. and to examine the possible coping mechanisms that exist to adapt to these problems.

U.S. EPA's Support Center for Regulatory Air Models:: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency uses this site to provide information on the many dispersion models supporting regulatory programs required by U.S. law. All of the EPA's dispersion models and their Users' Manuals can be downloaded cost-free from here. An online forum is also provided for discussion/questions/answers on all aspects of the EPA's models.

Human and Environmental Risk Assessment:: The HERA project is a European voluntary initiative launched by the suppliers and manufacturers, AISE and CEFIC, of household cleaning products to provide a common risk assessment framework. Provides news, risk assessment results and resources.
